Phan Thiet Beach Escape
Phan Thiet is a resort city, offering visitors a wide range of activities, both on land and on the water. just south of Phan Thiet you will be almost completely be alone as there is a 20km long beach that stretches from the city to the light house of Ke Ga. The kitesurfing craze began here, turning this into one of the top kitesurfing destinations in the world. For those who do not know how to kitesurf, there are plenty of schools all along the beach that will teach novices how to do it. Many of them also teach windsurfing and there is a sail training centre in Mui Ne Ward, at the end of the beach, where one can learn the art of sailing in one day.
Kuta (Lombok)
Kuta (Lombok) is a coastal town in the south of the island of Lombok. The scenery is spectacular, with cliffs and mountains reaching the coast to create jagged and awe- inspiring landscapes and views. The beaches are some of the best in Indonesia, with pristine white sand, and transparent blue-greens in the water. Kuta has some of the best surfing in the world, so naturally many visitors are surfers.
Seminyak
Seminyak Beach and Petitenget Beach is a continuous expanse of grey sand stretching in both directions as far as the eye can see. To the south it becomes Legian Beach and then Kuta Beach, but is noticeably quieter than both. The sunsets here are famous. Find your perfect sunset spot. There are many beach-side bars, restaurants and pools with stunning views.
Sihanoukville
Sihanoukville and its surroundings islands is a perfect stop for a beach holiday. The main reason to visit Sihanoukville is the beaches. They are not as crowded as many of those in Thailand, but can be cramped on weekends and holidays. Scuba Diving: there are many islands off the Cambodian coast that have lots of coral and fish. All the dive boats in Cambodia leave from the Sihanoukville port area. The main scuba diving area is at Koh Rong Samloem Island located 14 miles offshore, as well as at Koh Tang Island 35 miles from Sihanoukville.
